Excited to be even tangentially involved with this project. I'll be shooting photos and video throughout the week of the artists' progress. Can't wait to see the final product!

Designer Mark Oatis says the mural should be done by July 5th.

We had a pretty good turnout, considering the weird weather. Rain in the morning meant the city couldn’t paint the usual squares, so everyone got to define their “canvas.” Although this approach probably wouldn’t work in a normal year, it did this time and was fun to see the spontaneity and cooperation.
