Yep, I still photograph families. How could I not in this stunning SoCal area? I love subtly showing what a person does without being overly obvious. The tile samples in the background may not point directly to my client being an interior designer, but do provide a unique and interesting background. It will also look great on the website! Ever wonder how creatives create a color palette for a biz? Here's my process:Creating color palettes has become my new obsession. I start with an hour long interview to understand who my client is, who their clients are and what they are really all about.

Then, I translate that into a few words that accurately describe it all.

Finally, I sit and gather colors that match all 5 words which describe the business. One I have a main color, an opposite color and 3 supporting colors, I send my 5-10 ideas to my client.

Lastly, my client is directed to go with their gut and not overthink it (I've already done this for them). Whatever they are drawn to, it's likely their clients will be too.
