These chilly fall vibes have us thinking about warm sweaters, cozy fires, hot tub dips, and all the good stuff that comes with this time of year. 🍂🤎
This family session at Sawyer Park had all of those perfect fall feelings … cozy sweaters, golden light, snuggles, and so much sweetness. There’s just something about photographing families this time of year that feels extra magical.

A whole lot of family love on the golf course 🤍
There’s something so special about getting the entire crew together, the grandparents, cousins, siblings, little ones, all of it. We spent this beautiful Sunriver evening wandering the Caldera golf course, letting the kids be kids, and capturing this season of their family exactly as it is.
Big family sessions might feel a little chaotic, but … that’s part of the magic. ✨

One of those sessions that just felt easy from start to finish. 🥹
We spent the morning wandering around the Sunriver Trailhead, the kids were all smiles, their bright colors photographed so beautifully, and their sweet pup was the BEST little model. I love when families bring their dogs because they’re such a big part of this season of life, and it’s so fun getting to include them in the memories.
There wasn’t a lot of “say cheese” happening here, just walking together, laughing, snuggling up, and letting the kids be themselves. Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions.

I had so much fun with this family. 🤍

Black-and-white moments at Sparks Lake. 🖤

This family made my job so easy. The laughter, the connection, and the way they simply enjoyed being together made every moment feel effortless.

There’s something about black-and-white images that brings out a sense of nostalgia. They have a way of making moments that just happened feel timeless 🥹…memories you’ll look back on and cherish forever.

When mom and dad told me they weren’t sure how she’d do in front of the camera, I told them not to worry at all. Fast forward to non-stop giggles, and total magic ✨
My absolute favorite part of this job is creating a space where kids feel safe, happy, and completely comfortable just being themselves. Those candid, unfiltered moments of pure joy are the ones you’ll cherish forever. 🌲🤍

Soft morning light and a few tricks up my sleeve! 🪄

Today I’m taking you behind the scenes of a recent family session at the Sunriver Trailhead. We shot at 9:00 AM, which means finding that perfect backlit shade in the trees to get that signature glow. ✨

From letting the kids run wild at my camera to capturing individual “silly” shots, my goal is always to make photo day feel like play day. (And yes, I do carry camera puppets for emergencies! 🐶)
