I’ve been kinda out of the photography loop for the past few months as I take my stand against Leukemia. To all of you wonderful friends and family that have supported me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will be back when I’m in recovery and feeling better! Some days it is a struggle to just get around! Like Arnie would say “I’ll be back”

Love you all!

So, Finally I have finished my April Supermoon 2020 image! I took 380 images and planned on stacking them in Photoshop for a crisper clearer image. Well, that didn't work out too well for me! I crashed photoshop a couple of times and ended up doing the work on another computer. I ended up using only 21 of the images and took my time with Photoshop and Lightroom. my settings were SS200, F8, ISO 100. I dont know what time the actual full moon was at, but I believe my image was taken prior to the event. If you look on the right side you can see shadow detail in the craters. That is a sign that the moon is not yet full. The shadows are from the edge of the crater. It makes for great images when you are shooting a moon that is not full. I personally like it as it shows detail. Hope you all like the shot. I haven't done much moon photography in the past. However I will do some more as I see lots of places for me to improve. Enjoy.!

I have been following an English photographer on YouTube named Gavin Hardcastle. His YouTube profile is Fototripper. He is a very funny character and his work is amazing. I watched one of his videos where he was at Smith Rock in Terrebone. Yesterday I decided to go there and this is what I came back with. I took my Sony A7II and suffered the same problem that Gavin frequently suffers, "Exhausted batteries". I had walked to a really nice location and was very disappointed with my Sony. Lucky for me I carry a Nikon D90 in my truck for just such emergencies. Hope you all like this seven image vertical panorama. I used a Sigma 10-20 mm lens at 10mm. 1/500th sec at F11 and ISO 200 hand held.
