A little over a year ago, this sweet guy decided he was ready to meet the world much earlier than anyone expected.

We never got to do the maternity session we’d planned, but honestly? Spending a quiet morning documenting those first few weeks at home turned into something even more meaningful.

What makes this session especially close to my heart is that I’ve had the honor of photographing so many chapters of this family’s story. From their engagement, to their wedding, and now welcoming their first baby. Watching people you genuinely adore become parents is one of the greatest gifts this job has given me, and looking back on these images with his first birthday behind us and their anniversary just around the corner has me feeling all the emotions.

These are the moments I hope families hold onto forever. The tiny fingers that won’t stay tiny. The sleepy snuggles. The way home feels completely different once there’s a baby in it.

If you’re looking for a newborn photographer in Eugene, Oregon, the Willamette Valley, or Central Oregon who believes the most beautiful photos happen when your family can simply slow down and be together, in-home newborn sessions will always have my heart.

I hope this tiny little spit fire of a humans smile brings you as much joy to you as it does to me!

What made this location choice so special was that mom and dad originally met rock climbing. They’ve
made so many memories over the years tackling these beautiful rock faces in Tereebonne and knew it would be the perfect choice for their photos.
