Milky Way season is back.
This image is a blend of several photos captured this morning between 2:30 and 5:30 AM, with 50 frames just for the sky.
Images like this don’t happen by accident. They take planning — knowing when and where the Milky Way will be visible. That’s exactly why I created my Milky Way Planning Calendar.
It’s a customized 12-month calendar based on a specific location that shows the best days and more importantly the amount of time that is ideal for photography.
Right now in Central Oregon, the core is visible in the early morning hours after 1:15 AM for about 3 hours.
Let me know if you want more information or check out my website for additional details (see link in the comments)
It’s already one of my most valuable planning tools for this summer.
