My heart melted during this newborn session for baby brother. I was at my client’s home when big brother wandered in with his teddy bear, sat down by the bed, and found his own newborn album that we had made when he was a newborn. With his sweet little toddler hands, he flipped through each page, pointing out his baby pictures.

It was such a full circle moment—watching him enjoy the story of his own beginning. Moments like that remind me why albums matter so much. These aren’t just images on a screen. They become part of your family’s legacy… something your children can hold, revisit, and love for years to come.

Sometimes when you are in the trenches of motherhood, the days can feel so long. I had three boys under the age of 4 at one point & it seemed like some days the goal was just to keep everyone fed & alive! But one day not so far off, those little ones will grow & become much more independent, not requiring as much from you. I wish I could go back, even if just for a day, and relive those mundane moments! 🧡

Your home is a source of comfort, where you spend the most amount of time. After bringing home a new baby, you might not want to head out to the studio or other location for your newborn photography session. Many clients choose to have me come to the comfort of their own home, where baby and big siblings can feel the most at ease & be themselves.

A bonus is that we get to capture what your home was like during this season. As time moves on, we move or places change. These photos can help bring you back to this time in your life.
