A look at some of the storms coming into the Arkansas Delta earlier.

Anvils were spreading pretty far out as well!

Low Effort Chase setting up across the Natural State with a Slight Risk (Level 2/5) being outlined.

Primary Threats include Damaging Winds, Hail (maybe an isolated larger stone possible), and while the Tornado Threat is Very Low, it’s not zero.

I’ll be out just in case and as always will be relaying reports to Arkansas Weather Network.

Heat is back in the Forecast with Rainfall chances increasing starting today with a Marginal Risk Outlined and then a Slight Risk going into Saturday.

A chase may be on the table, so watch out for a livestream link!

No video update from me today, however Arkansas Weather Network has released a video going over precipitation chances today and throughout the week.

Temperatures look to remain consistent. High 80s, Low 90s with a drop into the 70s by evening!

Update:

The National Weather Service has upgraded today’s risk to include a Level 2/5, Slight Risk, coinciding with an increase in the Damaging Wind risk.

Also, the Hail threat has been expanded to include more of Central portions of the state.

Monitoring this closely!

Severe Storms possible this afternoon into the evening with a Marginal Risk (Level 1/5) bringing damaging gusts and maybe large hail.

Tornado Risk is very Low.

Temperatures today peak in the low 90s, maybe upper 80s in some spots.

Rain Chances exist for Southern AR as Heat also looks to be not as potent as previous days.

This week will likely feature chances for pop up garden showers, so just be ready for that as they die as quickly as they form.
