We are testing out a new project SPECIFICALLY for couples who have been married at least 20 years.

What we need: 10 couples available for a weekday photoshoot during September/October. You must be willing to sign a model release (your images will likely be used for advertising and promotion). These photoshoots will be used for testing and training, so may take slightly longer than a normal session and the process will be less polished.

What you will receive: As a thank you for being a test model, couples selected will pay no session fee and will receive a $500 credit toward a single portrait with the matching digital file. You will also receive many thanks from us!

The Art of Dance. This was our third (and likely final) year for this project. It’s been such a beautiful way to celebrate amazing dancers and share our art with the community, but when I look at these photos I’m reminded that it has been so much more.
One of the great gifts of our “job” isn’t only that it’s creative work, and it isn’t just that it supports our family… it is an open door to new relationships with so many wonderful people. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have so many clients who vulnerably open themselves up to the experience of their portraits, who recognize the value in capturing this special moment in time. There is so much JOY in watching these dancers see their portraits and feel confident and important and beautiful. It is an honor to witness.
So THANK YOU to all the dancers and families who participated! We have loved our time with you. ☺️
(and we tried to grab everyone because we wanted photos with all our dancers, but some of you managed to slip away! Sorry if we missed you!)

We take a break from dancers to share one of our adorable dog clients (through our dog studio Heritage Hound Company) It was so much fun capturing BIG for his feature in Stroll Pinnacle magazine this month. He is the sweetest gentle giant and- obviously- the Arkansas Razorbacks BIGGEST fan!

Featured dancer spots in our gallery show are 80% booked, and now we are looking to fill a couple more categories with some great dance stories.

We would love to find some dancers in the same family… mothers/fathers, daughters/sons, siblings, even grandparents! We know how special these relationships can be, especially when you share in a common activity. Plus, they’re so much fun to capture!

We’ve selected more than half our dancers for the gallery show and I realized what we are missing is LITTLES! They bring such life and fun to the experience. So please share this with a young dancer in your life!

My FAVORITE part of past gallery shows BY FAR is watching little dancers see themselves displayed large on the wall and seeing their faces, because in their mind they are famous. It is a beautiful sight. 💕
