Hello, I’m Jonlaya.

Re-introducing myself to some of you, and saying, “Hello, it’s good to see you again!” to others.

I’m a wedding photographer, drawn to the true, fun, fleeting moments of one of the best days of your life. The moments that seem to pass all too quickly.

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably wondering how summer managed to pass in the blink of an eye. Heck, the whole year seems to be doing the same.

As I head into the second half of wedding season, I’m feeling especially grateful. I’m looking forward to the couples I’ll have the privilege of working with, the industry professionals I’ll meet for the first time, the familiar faces I’ll get to see again, and, of course, getting out on the dance floor with all of you.

Mostly, I’m looking forward to doing what I love: being there, paying attention, and recording the memories that will one day become the pieces of your story you look back on.

If you’re new here, welcome! I’m a Northern Virginia wedding photographer passionate about documenting love stories in a way that feels genuine, emotional, and timeless.

My approach is simple: I want you to be fully present on your wedding day while I capture both the intimate moments and the grand celebrations that make your story uniquely yours. From the quiet hand squeezes before the ceremony to the joyful chaos of the dance floor, I believe the best photographs are the ones that help you relive exactly how it felt.

Beyond creating beautiful images, I care deeply about the experience I provide. Your wedding photographer is one of the people you’ll spend the most time with on your wedding day—often 8 to 10 hours by your side. My goal is to be more than someone holding a camera; I want to be a calming presence, your biggest hype woman, a problem solver when needed, and someone you’re genuinely excited to have around.
