The best advice when it comes to shooting with natural light? 📸

Stop being afraid to raise your ISO.

Keeping your ISO as low as possible isn’t always the goal. If lowering your ISO means sacrificing shutter speed, you may end up trading a little grain for a blurry image.

Instead:

Choose your aperture for the look you want.
Keep your shutter speed fast enough for a sharp image.
Then use your ISO to compensate for the light you actually have.

A sharp image at ISO 1600 beats a blurry image at ISO 200 every time.

A little grain can be fixed. Motion blur can’t. 🙌🏻

Save this one for the next time you’re shooting in tricky natural light!
