Frost, Michigan is located in the Ottawa National Forest on NF-16. Home to one of several rail sidings in the area, this particular rail line was active a few years ago as storage for unused railcars. This year it's empty rails and knee-high weeds for miles. This line would have been bustling in the early 1900's with logs stacked high on their way to the mill.

I know nothing about this event, other than the date is posted on the fence at the airport. Thought maybe some of the Yoopers would like a chance to race their cars just across the border.

A fun family event for all ages. A quarter mile run, with drag cars.

These recently hatched turkeys were trying to stay dry and on the move after a recent thunderstorm passed. When they are this small mom will sit on them to protect them from rain and predators.
