Yesterday, I gave into the urge to get out and take pictures. I left my husband with his dad, and set out with Acadia National Park as a possibility.

My first stop: Eagle Lake

Years ago, we were there and I photographed orchids while hobbling on a bad knee. I was hoping to see more, but... I photographed the lake instead.

I wish I had taken warmer clothes... that's the only thing that cut my time at Sieur de Mont, in Acadia National Park, short.

If you ever visit Acadia, be sure to get into the woods. You will find streams, wildflowers, ferns, animals, and more.

I use Lightroom to edit my photos. It really helps with converting images to black and white, as you will see in the video.
