Life on our homestead with lambing season, gardening, and life emerging outside in an abundant and fast way has kept me rather busy lately - but in the moments of quiet and when I can sneak away from the list of to-dos -- I've been editing some lovely faces from recent sessions.

For the past several years I have been asked to photograph a special event put on by the Weld Community Foundation in Greeley, CO. On this night, donors and graduating seniors who have been awarded scholarships come together to meet, and have their photo taken together. It's a beautiful night to see how so many students who may not otherwise find a path to a college career, are provided with some help and support. To hear their stories always makes me cry and to listen to the students who have come back at the end of their 4 year degree to explain how these funds provided them with a life they were once afraid to dream up -- always makes me pause and be grateful.

This isn't the type of shoot I advertise often, but I am so grateful when I'm asked to be a part of events like this. Thank you for bringing me into the goodness happening in Northern Colorado.

This beautiful friend of mine radiates love and compassion in so many spaces she inhabits. She longs for connection, authenticity, and to help people feels seen, safe, and valued. It was an honor to be able to capture her ordination this past weekend alongside another minister for youth. I'm excited to get her gallery done for her to remember the culmination of a lot of hard and heart work.
