This is a woman owned business, a mom owned business to be exact.

Life happens.

I woke up that morning in November for this photoshoot and my son needed to go to urgent care. Which left my daughter without someone to watch her.

So I brought her along on my shoot (after making sure it was okay with the client). She stood in for me as I checked lighting. She pointed out spots that she thought would be a fun place for kids to take photos.

As my clients arrived, so did my husband to whisk my assistant away. He had hot chocolate and donuts to pay her.

If you are one of my clients, never feel bad if something happens the day of our shoot. I try to be extremely flexible, because let's face it, life happens.

Honestly though, I am in 😍 with these photos.

I have been inspired recently by a few photography 📷 groups I am part of to go more natural in my photos. The last photo in this series is the natural color and lighting as shot.

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

I know that everyone has a post about being thankful on Thanksgiving, and your girl here isn't going to be any different!

But read on, because I am saying THANK YOU to YOU!! To each and every one of you that liked my page, shared a post, or tagged me in a post. To all the people that supported this tired mama on her journey and mission to connect with people and help them capture the moment before time marches on.

Thank you to the families that trusted me with their holiday memories this year. I had a personal record breaking 35 photoshoots since October 1st.

I know that times are tight financially for everyone right now, and that isn't something I take lightly. So this year I am incredibly thankful to every person that chose to do photos with me. I know that in our current economic state, that truly is a choice.
