WELCOME!

Thank you for visiting, I am ISAM, that’s pronounced ESOM.
I am a father of 4 beautiful children, business owner, Sourdough bread baker, and photographer.

I got into photography as I helped my ex-wife build her photography business. She’s a great photographer, and while I bought her cameras, lenses, and other related items, I took the opportunity to enhance my love of great photography by playing around a bit.

I used to grab one of the cameras and just take pictures of things that caught my eye. I would get tips from her and apply them. It was a great experience for me as I learned more on the mechanics of the camera.

My first dive into this was with the photography of my Sourdough bread. After I started my Instagram account CT Food Guy, I appreciated the importance of great pictures, so I posted pictures of my fresh creations. Soon enough, my desires took to photography of other subjects.

While I admired her work, I knew there was something that set me apart. I didn’t like the editing part of photography because it changed the natural essence of the picture. When I take a picture, what you see is what you get, and I don’t edit it to alter it’s natural features. This is the reason I base my photography on “Unedited” work- the picture that is produced from my camera is the final picture, never edited!

I’ll be adding pictures here to my portfolio. You’ll see that I love animal shots, children, nature, and groups of people in the way of events. There’s nothing like taking pictures of my subjects without announcing it- just natural poses that aren’t setup.

I’m available for hire, and you’ll discover that while my photography is great, my prices are very, very down-to-earth.
