The loss of our friend Bobbi Ercoline is one we will feel over and over. We are so grateful for her kindness throughout the years: her willingness to share her unique story, donate her time, and be an important part of exhibits, tours, and special events. Bobbi is the epitome of what makes the legacy of Woodstock so special, and her wisdom and warmth will live on these historic grounds for years to come.
During an interview as part of the creation of our augmented reality tour Meet Me At Woodstock (Bobbi and Nick are the narrators), Bobbi was asked what advice she would give to her 20-year-old self. Her response is a good and gentle reminder always, but now especially. “…I would tell myself I don’t have to go the rest of my life being so hard on myself… I do my very, very best that I can. And that’s good enough.”
Our heartfelt condolences to Nick, and the entire Ercoline family, and we hope he finds comfort in the memories they created and the beautiful life they shared. “I feel very fortunate to be a little part of the whole Woodstock experience, and I can’t imagine a better experience to share with the person you’ve loved for [more than] 50 years,” ~ Bobbi Ercoline
