One of my absolute favorite things, and the most fulfilling part of being a bo***ir photographer is the ability to show you the parts of yourself you don't always validate or see with kind eyes. When you see your photos and say "OMG WHO IS THAT???" It's you, the tangible and authentic representation of you. This is why I don't edit heavily, and when you tell me something you are not loving about your body, I see that as a challenge. You are worthy, you are important, you are strong and absolutely beautiful.

What makes him different? Life didn't go easy on him. He's seen stress, pressure, disappointment, darkness, responsibility... the kind of things that make a lot of people go cold. But somehow, he still comes home soft with me. Still patient with me. Still loves me gently no matter how hard the world is on him.

Mother's Day. For those who know me, know this is always a difficult day. I made the decision to go no contact with my mother nearly 10 years ago. For my mental health, to break generational curses, and for healing. I know I made the right decision, but it doesn't make this day any easier.

So, this year I am posting the that show up. The women who raised 2 of my best friends who I love and share this journey with. Despite challenges, different perspectives, and life changes, they are there. I am so grateful they trusted me with their experiences.
