The most important luxury on your wedding day is presence & authenticity. Regardless of how much money you spend on florals, whether or not you have a planner, what kind of entertainment you hire, or the clothes you wear. If you’re feeling pressured to perform and for a reason that doesn’t align with who you are and what’s important to you, then quite frankly, what’s the point?
Luxury is having the opportunity to say this is a tradition we want to uphold and this is a new one we want to start. Luxury is not being asked to button your jacket 4 times for “the shot.” It’s having your first look feel private and intimate, without having to rush onto the next thing. Luxury means not having to force anything. It’s having vendors who can make informed recommendations so you can make informed decisions about what you want your day to look and feel like.
Sometimes real luxury on your wedding day means getting to say “no.” It’s being able to have open and honest conversations with your vendors about what you want for your wedding day - before the wedding day! So that on your day, you don’t have to worry. You can trust that we’re going to be executing your wedding day according to your preferences and priorities.
It’s your wedding day. You can literally do whatever you want. And I will be the last person to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. I’ll be the first person to be real with you about logistics, but as long as the logistics work, I’ll be the last person to tell you what you can or can’t do.
Luxury is having a photographer who gives you enough space and open prompts so you can feel present and authentic and enough direction to make sure we’re capturing the moments you want captured in the way you want them captured. Luxury is having a photographer who knows that balance intuitively and can adjust their approach to feel personalized for each couple.
What’s important about creating a luxury wedding day is being able to feel present & confident, being able to trust your vendors, and ultimately being able to do the day the way you want to do it.
