I will forever love these Freshie sessions. They remind me of my own little babies and how truly unique and special those first days are.

I’ve got a confession to make… I’m falling more and more in love with simpler newborn posing.

There’s something so special about keeping things calm and connected, like this sweet mama + baby snuggle.

Don’t worry, I’m still doing posed setups too. Just finding a really beautiful balance of both right now.

And truthfully, I think that’s where the magic has always been.

I’ve never witnessed anything in life quite like birth. I wish more people could see this part.

Not the excitement of the beginning. Not the rush of the end. The sacred middle.
The quiet determination between contractions.

Breath. Wave. Surrender.
The body leading the way.
And connection… quiet, steady, unspoken.

A hand held tight through every wave.

As a nurse, a birth photographer, and a mom, I’m drawn to these in-between moments. Because labor deserves to be remembered… not just for how it ends, but for everything it takes to get there.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing familiar faces and watching little ones grow up in front of my camera. 🤍
