It’s time for me to focus on technical abilities and not the online growth. Dive a little deeper into the videography and photography side and not just the content creation piece.
One thing about social media that I’ve learned is it’s a constant comparison to everybody else in your industry. I don’t feel like I’m as consistent as some of my peers that are posting and it’s giving me the drive to want to get better.
Lately I’ve really been feeling like I’m stepping into a different season. The last couple years have been so go-go-go with travel and projects that I haven’t had much time to actually slow down and focus on getting better technically with my camera.
And honestly, I can feel that shift now. It’s becoming less busy and I want to be more intentional with this time. It’s less about being everywhere and more about refining what I’m already doing and actually leveling up the craft behind it.
It kind of feels like life is giving me a little space to practice instead of just produce. I feel like I’m being told to slow down and pay attention to the details I’ve been rushing past since I’ve started this.
So I’m going to lean into that. Same direction, just a different pace.
Charging my drone to actually learn to fly it and use it….Putting some different recipes in the Fuji and troubleshooting some of that camera…playing with settings to try to get things more in focus when it comes to photography… maybe commit to shooting in s-log and work on color grading 🙄
I’ll share some of this journey in stories on Elizabeth | Rodeo Content Creator 🎥
