Rainy skies, marathon traffic, and all the Big Sur magic today as we head into Greg + Erica’s wedding day ✨

These two met and fell in love in medical school (we love a good origin story), built a life together in Minnesota, and chose to bring their people to Carmel for one reason: the wild, natural beauty of this coastline.

And honestly… it fits them perfectly.

Two adventure lovers who got engaged at the top of Mirador Las Torres in Patagonia (casual sunrise hike 😍), choosing to begin this next chapter surrounded by ocean air, cypress trees, and that unmistakable California energy—it feels just right and We’re beyond excited to document it all at and .carmel!!

Golden light, coastal wind, and two souls who feel like they truly belong together. We’ve been counting down the days to Nikki + Josh’s wedding today at Wind & Sea—tucked into the cliffs of Big Sur, where everything feels a little more magical.

From running barefoot through sun-drenched fields to slow, quiet moments beneath the redwoods, their engagement session was full of life, laughter and love—and today, we get to witness them step into the next chapter.

It’s going to be a good one. We cannot wait to capture it!

Maddie & Akshay — from the rugged cliffs and crashing waves of Big Sur to the sun-drenched shores of Cabo, their love has been nothing short of cinematic. Last June we climbed through golden grasses, and soaked in the raw beauty of the Pacific as we photographed their engagement on the windswept coastline.

Today, we’ve traveled over 1,300 miles South, swapping the redwoods and cliffs for golden beaches, palm trees, and the sparkling Sea of Cortez — and we’re beyond excited to celebrate alongside them! What began as quiet, intimate moments, now unfolds into a colorful celebration surrounded by friends, family, and the hot summer sun! Let’s do this!

As a September baby, fall has always been Kendal’s favorite season. She loves the autumn hues and the natural colors of the earth, the changing landscape, and that crisp feeling that lingers in the air!

Most of you know that we are wedding photographers, but you may not know that Kendal use to be a full time graphic designer and fancies herself as a hostess with the mostess and event planner extraordinaire—So the combination of her skillsets and latent talents brought this dream birthday to life! This party was more like a wedding with over the top details, florals, food, wine, and decor! Set on the landscape of a private estate in Big Sur, California, 85 guests celebrated a birthday party like no other!
