50 years since we first set foot on our celestial sibling. Incredible. I really wish I’d been alive for that one. Maybe I’ll see a human walk on Mars in my lifetime, but I suspect it’s never as special as the first time. Ah well, I’ve seen some pretty cool things too. McWay Falls lit up by the moon late at night without another soul around, for instance, was quite nice. Anyway, I hope today’s anniversary reminds us of how unified we can be, both as a nation and a species. ✌🏻🌖
