If there’s one place in the world to be a photographer; that place is definitely Big Sur.

Sometimes I don’t know how to professionally say, “Don’t trip, it’s hard to take a bad photo in Big Sur” to couples.

Something that I talk about with every couple that I have a zoom call with is that I’m always looking for the photos that make your day uniquely yours. That’s where I thrive.

I want your photos to feel like “inside joke” that only us can laugh about and everyone else is left out wondering what’s the deal.

I want your gallery to embody: “You just HAD to be there to get it”.

If there is one location I will always advocate for when it comes to photos; it will be your own house.

Why?

That’s your comfort zone.

You know what it smells like.
You know what it feels like.
You won’t run into traffic getting here.
You already got the best parking spot.
You already know the best spots in your house.
You know the certain places you like to take photos at during a specific time (don’t lie to yourself, we all do this, it’s okay).

You want your photos to feel to candid?
Your house is the #1 place you are the most candid in.

Still to this day, I’m blown away by how many couples invite me to become a part of new chapters and journeys in their lives.

I personally don’t think I’m a talented photographer at all, but I do believe that my curiosity with photography is something that resonates with to people.

Never perfect, always experimenting, ever evolving and trying to be better than yesterday.

Just like life.
