I picked up a camera as a way to escape reality. This journey helped me get through the hardest time of my life. I believe my brother continued to cheer me on from heaven.

I had so much support from my husband, family, and friends.

I borrowed and shortly after bought my very own camera. Nothing fantasy but it captured beautiful images for many. I learned so much from many YouTube videos, practicing, asking Google questions, and more practicing. I then decided I wanted to upgrade and now I have two more cameras.

I am obsessed!

This is a non stop learning journey!

I am forever grateful for those
who have supported me,
who allow me to do practice sessions,
who are active on my social media,
who took many awesome headshots,
who have bought B•Joyful Photography merch, and everything in between.

I can not forget those who doubted me,
the ones who thought this was all a joke + said 'it wouldn't go any where.'

Well it did!
