There’s something special about realizing you don’t have to travel far to find incredible places.

This entire evening happened just minutes from home, surrounded by wildflowers, mountain views, quiet rivers, and one unforgettable Flathead Valley sunset. Sometimes the places we’ve driven past a hundred times end up becoming some of the most beautiful backdrops.

Reagan brought her joyful energy to every stop, and I loved getting to explore our little corner of Montana with her. Her gallery captures exactly what summer here feels like.

This is exactly how I hope people remember Glacier.

Not just because of the mountains, but because of the feeling. The kind of evening where you lose track of time, wander a little farther down the trail, stop every few minutes because the view somehow keeps getting better, and share it with someone who appreciates every bit of it. That’s exactly what my evening with Bella felt like.

Bella has one of those smiles that makes you smile right back, and I think that’s my favorite part of this gallery.

Alyvia traveled from North Dakota for her senior session, and Glacier gave us a little bit of everything—from quiet water along the shoreline and colorful wildflowers to towering peaks and one very important hockey jersey.

I loved getting to spend the evening with Alyvia and her family, showing them one of my favorite places and exploring corners of the park that were completely new to them. Together, we created a gallery that feels so true to who Alyvia is—sweet, adventurous, and always smiling.

Some sessions are beautiful.

Some stay with you.

Hallie’s did both.

We started the evening at her family’s cabin before heading into Glacier, and every stop along the way somehow felt even more magical than the last. We wandered through the forest, stopped along Lake McDonald, explored wildflowers, laughed in the middle of Going-to-the-Sun Road, and finished beneath one of the most unforgettable cotton candy sunsets I’ve ever witnessed at Logan Pass.

But what I’ll remember most isn’t just the scenery.

It’s the trust, the teamwork, and the willingness to create something together. Hallie brought so much joy and creativity to every location, and this gallery is a reflection of that.

There was absolutely no way I could narrow this one down any further.

Glacier sessions can be a gamble.

We spend hours chasing light, watching the clouds, adjusting our route, and making the best decisions we can along the way… all while hoping we end the evening in exactly the right place if the sky decides to put on a show.

Most nights it’s beautiful no matter what.

And every once in a while… you end up with a sunset like this. ❤️

Back in Glacier and this one was so good. 🤍

Taylor and I spent the evening winding our way through Going-to-the-Sun Road, making stops from the West Side Tunnel all the way to St. Mary Lake and everywhere in between. We chased waterfalls, wandered through wildflowers, stood in glacier streams, and soaked in some of the most incredible views Glacier has to offer.

There wasn’t much of a sunset, but honestly, it didn’t matter. The cloud cover made every color up on the mountain absolutely pop, and it ended up being the perfect evening for Taylor.

One of my favorite parts of senior season is that no two sessions ever feel the same. Every senior brings something different, and every evening turns into its own adventure.

Taylor, thank you for trusting me with your senior portraits. I loved getting to explore Glacier with you and your dad, and I can’t wait for you to see the rest. 💛
