There is so much variety in these shows, from the musical acts, to the comedians to the amazing dancers. If you havent been to one yet you need to!

Less detail.... MORE Drama!

Here is some high-key lighting and silhouette work from the most recent Halloween themed burlesque show with Black Book Entertainment at clublux406 in Billings, Montana.

This performance was a fun one to photograph and I LOVE how these 2 specific photos came out. For a live event getting some high key portrait shots like this doesn't usually happen. So many great performers that night so stay tuned for more photos!

Are you a fan of 90's/2000's country music???
Gary Allan made a stop at the Alberta Bair Theater this last Sunday and played to a sold out crowd in Billings, Montana. I'm sure you've heard some of his hit songs and if you caught the show you know how great he is. Sundays night of live music was a great time and big props to the THE PUB STATION for making these shows happen!

Just realized I never shared these black and white photos from an amazing night of live music with Dirtwire back in august outside of Missoula, Montana at the KettleHouse Amphitheater

Enjoy some photography on this fine Friday evening before we get out first snow storm in Montana. The. It goes back up to 70 degrees. Nothing like some good ol Montana weather.

A big happy birthday to Trey Anastasio of Phish today!
Swipe for one of my all time favorite photos ive ever captured in my concert photography career.

I had the chance to capture one of treys solo acoustic sets with Jeff Tanski at the beautiful The Wilma in Missoula, Montana and the amount of respect the crowd gives him is by far amazing. Everyone was so quiet during his playing and it brought a whole different emotion to the room. Trey is a master guitar player and this was an amazing show.

Trying out some new editing styles for some different genres of music. Something about this americana/country just screams some nice warm grainy film look.

Cash Muretta started off a night of Sold out Live music last Friday at the THE PUB STATION in Downtown Billings, Montana opening up for Buffalo Traffic Jam. Talk about one of those voices that is meant for storytelling. Take a look at some of my favorite concert photos from the night.
