Why I love to capture those memories.........................
I love photo shoots with my “always-making-me-laugh” husband who is an awesome dad, super-funny uncle, caring son, “can-always-count-on” brother.............he provides that unique perspective that I would never have seen. He’s “that”guy!
I love the challenge - I’m somewhat of a late bloomer to this competitive, photography world, but I knew I just needed to try. I love to get that perfect sun-kissed shot or to jump up on the top of a vehicle to get a different angle or to wade in freezing cold water or to have cowboys leap into the air - the unexpected, the surprising, the smile, the laughter............
But more importantly I love the souls I meet...................a Grandma smiling from her hospital room watching her grandkids pose, a bride who has a piece of her Grandpa’s shirt sewn underneath her wedding dress, little boys smiling between watermelon bites, very Special Athletes overjoyed to be able to walk 50 yards, outrageous-fellow photographers coming together to raise money for families, and hard-working farmers having a beer after a shoot, ...........so proud of their state and the life it gives to their families.............so many genuine, sweet souls.
I love to be able to preserve these memories so family can look back and say “I remember that...I will treasure that day always!” or “Look at Grandma in this photo - what a character!”.
