I wish I could truly explain. I wish these photos did it justice. I wish I could lead you all to a place where you feel the undeniable presence of God from the moment you open the door. That place for me was Rooted and Grounded. Verses and reminders of God are sprinkled all throughout the building, but the faith and love that is poured in is poured in by the gallons. Caroline, the owner, is a reminder that we can forge a career for ourselves that is completely selfless. She is a reminder that God is our main focus, loving and serving Him and our neighbors is our first and only ājobā. She is a reminder that being fearlessly unashamed of our faith is the truest, happiest, most beautiful thing we can possibly do. After I was done snapping photos, Madi and Caroline prayed over me. And yāall...I have never felt so fiercely loved. Their prayers were like the electricity running through me that sparked the light and allowed me to see my path. They prayed that God would allow others to see His grace, His love and His light in my artwork. They prayed that my path would be full of opportunities to share His message. They prayed that I would bring so much glory to God. I am praying these same prayers for all of you today. And I strongly encourage a visit to this little white building on Dauphin Street, that is making the world a better place with every sip.
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the power together, with all the Lordās people, to grasp how wide and long, high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19
