🎅✨ Meet Sir Francis Bacon, my rescue floof and the star of this year’s holiday season! Named after the father of the scientific method, this dapper gent is stealing the spotlight because, in lieu of sharing my kiddos this year, you’re getting all cats, all the time. 🐾🤣
On a serious note, I owe an apology to my clients for not having proofs ready yet, as promised. 2024 has been relentless. Between medical emergencies, insurance battles, and recovering from a near-fatal car crash in January, life has been heavy. It’s time to share what’s been going on:
💔 Degenerative disc disease with ruptured and degenerating discs in my cervical spine (neck), causing nerve pain and risking paralysis without surgery.
🫀 50% stenosis in my right carotid artery, likely caused by high-risk pregnancies, requiring meds and constant monitoring.
👂 Double fungal ear infections and temporary hearing loss, with endless ENT visits and mounting bills.
🦷 Dental issues, sunburn scars & lesions, and other health crises adding up financially and emotionally.
Despite it all, I’m holding onto hope. For my clients waiting on galleries, I’m working hard to get proofs done and will finish while traveling for Thanksgiving. Proofs start going out within the hour.
If anyone with admin skills is open to bartering, I’d love help managing emails and client communications—it takes a village, and I need one. 🖤
