Sometimes I walk around our house feeling grumpy about toys everywhere, dishes left in the sink, screen doors slamming shut. And when I sit with those feelings for a moment, they often turn to gratitude. I see my old Barbie’s laid out while my daughters play and I hear my son belly laugh in the background; what a gift.
