A little change here at The Morros Photography 💛
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what it means to photograph families in a world where technology and AI are changing so quickly.
As a photographer, I’m incredibly grateful that families trust me with some of their most meaningful memories. As a mom, though, there is something that comes before my business every single time: protecting our children.
So going forward, I’ve made the decision that I will no longer publicly share identifiable photos of children’s faces on The Morros Photography’s social media or website.
This doesn’t mean I’ll stop capturing the joy, connection, silliness, and beauty of childhood at all. I’ll still be documenting all of those little moments that make your family your family, just in a way that puts your child’s privacy first.
You may see more little hands, messy hair, running feet, cuddles, giggles from behind, parents loving on their babies, and all of the in-between moments that tell your story without putting your child’s face online. These are moments I’ve always wanted enjoyed capturing!
If you’re a past client and see your family’s photos here, please know that I’ll be gradually archiving any images that show your children’s faces. This isn’t because I value those photographs any less. I treasure them. I simply believe that some memories are meant to belong to the family who lived them, rather than to the internet.
Your family’s trust means more to me than my portfolio ever could.
Thank you for trusting me to document your families and for understanding why, as a mother and a photographer, this is a boundary I feel strongly about.
