What is labor vs artistry? “A person who works with their hands is a laborer; a person who works with their hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a person who works with their hands and brain and heart is an artist.”

I love this quote. Being an artist is a whole body experience: physical + mental + spiritual + emotional.

Backstory: this mural is my first time painting a marsh scene. I’m fascinated how every tree tells its own story.
