Wowowow apparently these photos from the wedding I shot for Mariah Oldacre Wedding + Lifestyle Photography a couple weeks ago are going viral!? The internet is such a weird place hahah but this day was definitely one of the most fun + love filled days I’ve ever been a part of. DEFINITELY all for embracing the weather on your wedding day 😍😍😍

And wow Madison Martin Photography LLC literally what would I (or my gear) have done without you holding that umbrella over me during these moments 😅😂 it takes a village y’all!

3 things that are easily overlooked, but make a HUGE difference in your wedding day and photos✨:

1. Take time to think through the details of your day and really make them special + unique to you guys. Don't just do something because it's expected. Do it because you want to and it means something to you!

2. Do the hard work when hiring your vendors - make sure you really love them and their work! Then, sit back and TRUST them to create their magic. Our best work really does come from knowing you trust us to create magic and finding freedom in that. Plus, its way less stress on you! Win-win. 😘

3. Come to terms with the fact that your wedding dress is going to be dirty by the end of your day. Even if you're stressed out about it all day long and try your hardest not to get anything on it, there will alwaysss be something that gets on it. So just accept it! You'll have WAY more fun, be more present, and I guarantee you’ll wind up with a bunch of memories + photos that you’ll love forever. 🥰

On Tuesday and I hosted our first ever content day!! It was everything we could have hoped for and more. 🥰🤍 It was so so fun for us to plan such a beautiful day for everyone to connect with new people in the industry, get creative, and expand their portfolios!

We had an AMAZINGGG team of vendors that made it all come to life. Seriously. Could not have done it without everyone that was involved. 🤍

These photos are some that I took throughout the day, but I’m honestly having more fun looking through all of our attendee’s photos than my own! 😂 I’m so proud of everyone for the beauty they captured!!! I think I found my new favorite thing. CANNOT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT ONE!!!!

So excited because WILDLY IN LOVE and I are hosting our first ever content day together today!!!!! We’re going to have 15 photographers attending (socially distanced of course) at to expand their portfolios, grow in community, and truly have the freedom to GET CREATIVE. All the things my heart loves. 🥰 We’ve spent months planning this day and I just cannot wait to see the magic that is created and captured through everyone’s unique perspective. HOW DOES IT WORK?
You'll be split into 3 groups of 5 photographers that will be rotating stations every 15 minutes. We’ve strategically broken up the stations to allow each of you enough time to get all the shots you could want without feeling like you’re fighting an uphill battle to only get that one shot in your head (if you’ve been to other content days/workshops in the past you probably know what I’m talking about)! 🙈

Hiiii guys! Just chillin at home tonight (what else is new) and I don’t think I’ve introduced myself in like a year and a half on here sooo ✌🏼 here’s some things about me:

☼ I’m Savannah but my nickname + business’ name is Sav so you can call me whichever one your heart desires - I respond to both! 😊
☼ new + beautiful places fuel me
☼ I haven’t gotten my hair cut in a year and a half... oops
☼ I’m a 6w7 on the enneagram - aka I like to have fun and explore places constantly but I will also make sure to keep you out of danger 🤘🏼
☼ one of my favorite places to be is underwater
☼ I’m consistently wondering why I don’t go on more scuba diving trips and why I don’t have more people to go on these trips with me🤷🏼‍♀️
