Race + Religious is basically a photographer’s creative playground. The texture, the color, the history, the courtyards, the unexpected little corners… everywhere you turn there’s something begging to be photographed.

But my favorite part is when a couple trusts me enough to really PLAY. To chase the weird light, try the unexpected angle, embrace a little blur, shoot some film, and create something that feels less like a wedding shot list and more like art that actually belongs to them.

Give me a wildly beautiful New Orleans venue, a couple who’s down to have fun, and the freedom to get creative and I am in my ELEMENT. 🎞️

One of the best wedding planning tips I can give you? Trust your vendors when they recommend other vendors. 🤍

The wedding industry is a surprisingly small world, and we get to see what happens behind the scenes every single weekend. We know who shows up prepared, who communicates well, who stays calm when the timeline shifts, who cares deeply about their couples, and who consistently creates incredible work.

When your planner, photographer, florist, venue, or other trusted vendor recommends someone, it’s usually because we’ve actually watched them do their job when it matters most.

And your vendor team matters SO much.

The best wedding days aren’t created by one person. They happen when you have a team of people who trust each other, communicate well, and are all working toward the same goal: giving you the freedom to actually be present and enjoy your wedding.

So when you find a vendor you really trust, ask them who they love working with.

Chances are, they’re recommending people they’d want beside them on their own wedding day.

Because sometimes the best part of an Aspen wedding happens after the timeline ends.

The shoes come off, the ch*****ne keeps flowing, the flash comes out, and suddenly everyone you love is packed onto the dance floor. No rules. No pressure to make your wedding look like anyone else’s. Just a night that actually feels like YOU.

Getting ENGAGED at one of my favorite wedding venues in Alabama?! Are you kidding me?! Add a film photoshoot and I’m in HEAVEN!

Stone Haven is already one of those places that makes my photographer brain go absolutely crazy. The European-inspired architecture, the glass Atrium, the views overlooking the Tennessee River, the light… it genuinely feels like a little piece of Italy tucked away in Alabama.

There is something so special about choosing a place for your engagement that already feels like the beginning of your wedding story. And if you’re dreaming about getting married at Stone Haven, just know I will happily photograph here over and over and OVER again.

Give me all the proposals, engagements and wedding days at Stone Haven. I’m obsessed.

This wedding at Lazy J Ranch was one of those days where you could FEEL the energy from the second it started. Everyone showed up ready to celebrate, the dance floor stayed alive, the drinks were flowing, and every single person seemed genuinely SO happy to be there.

But my favorite part was watching these two. So wildly in love, completely present, and way more focused on celebrating with their favorite people than making sure every little thing went “perfectly.” And THAT is when the magic happens.

Also, can we talk about a wedding vendor team that actually works like a TEAM?! There is something so special about a day where everyone behind the scenes is communicating, collaborating, hyping each other up, and working toward the same goal: giving the couple the absolute best freaking day. It makes such a difference, and this crew absolutely crushed it.

More weddings that feel like THIS please. 🥂

Fun. A little chaotic in my favorite way. Full of personality. Full of people you love. And documented exactly as it felt.

If your wedding plans basically boil down to “we want beautiful photos, but mostly we want to throw an incredible party with everyone we love”… hi. I think we’re going to get along.
