Hi friends! 🤍
It’s been a while since I’ve shared much here. First, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for sticking around, for cheering me on, and for continuing to support this little business of mine, even through the quiet seasons.
I’ve debated whether or not to share this, but it’s time. For as long as I can remember, I’ve silently struggled with crippling ADHD. For years, I carried a lot of shame about how much it affected me, not just in my personal life, but in my work as well. ADHD doesn’t manifest the same in everyone and isn’t always fidgeting or being hyper - it can also look like forgetting to reply to texts, feeling overwhelmed by simple tasks, struggling with organization, or missing deadlines despite your best intentions. It often shows up in invisible ways that affect everyday life, especially for adults who’ve spent years masking it.
It’s something I’ve hidden, but I know it showed in the ways I sometimes fell short .. in delays with editing, in missed or late emails, and in the inconsistent way I showed up on social media. If you’re a past client who ever felt I was hard to get ahold of or waited longer than expected for your gallery - I want to say I’m sorry. I see it now with so much more clarity and I want you to know how deeply I value each and every person who has trusted me to capture their story.
The beautiful thing is I’m no longer struggling in silence. I’ve taken big steps to get the support I need and I finally feel like I have the right tools in place to thrive both in life and in business. I’m learning how to streamline my workflow, communicate more effectively, and most importantly, give myself the grace I so often give to others.
I’m feeling more hopeful, more organized, and more excited about the future than I have in a long time. I’m ready to show up fully. Not just as your photographer, but as a human being growing through it all.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, your kindness, and your trust. I’m so grateful for every single one of you.
love always,
Stephanie
