Testing my "photographic" skills. Beautiful woman, don't you think?
Too bad that she doesn't exist. This is my very first AI "photograph."

This is what I typed into Adobe Firefly to create her: a beautiful long gray haired ebony complexioned middle aged afro-latin woman in a cornfield lit by rising sun facing front.
I think Artificial Intelligence got fairly close. What do you think?

While browsing and organizing photographs, I came across the images from a special shoot that I did 10 years ago. A young woman, who was suffering from rapidly advancing macular degeneration, retained me for a n**e photo session because she wanted to see her body depicted artistically before she went totally blind. I wonder whatever became of her.

Thinking of the last time that I complained about cataracts and reminding myself to be thankful.

I had the pleasure of partnering with, painter, Lisa Steffens for an entry in this show. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the opening.

We’re proud to announce that our next art show entitled “Side by Side: Art Inspiring Art” will run from Friday, May 13 through Monday, July 4, 2022.  The opening reception will be Friday, May 13, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and the public is invited to this reception.  The Red House is open everyday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Artists draw inspiration from many different sources including other works of art.  In contrast to simply copying/reproducing a work of art, inspirational works yield surprising and creative twists.  Side by side works of inspired and/or derivative art can be revealing and thought provoking.  This will require collaboration and cooperation between league artists that independently decide to pair themselves together and the pairing hopefully will occur across all media and genres.  Collaborated works of art will hang side by side.
