The Historic Burwell School

Saturday, I visited the Historic Burwell School, which is a block and a half from where we live in the hills of North Carolina. Flintlock Colonial was on site with a small colonial military encampment in full period dress. The Burwell School was owned by the mistress of Abraham Lincoln.

I’m at home in North Carolina, but leaving today. Getting some small items adjusted on my truck. Nice visit here in the hills since Saturday afternoon. Hope your Monday is off to a great start!
