I think we are all a little tired after the clinic this weekend but it was well worth it to watch the amazing and kind horsemanship Riding Far, LLC demonstrated. Now a couple of Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue, INC ponies have started their journey from ferally/unhandled to domestication. More pics to come. Also I believe these handsome spotted boys will be part of the Appalachian Trainer Face Off this year to help them receive more training to make them adoptable.

Today I'm thankful to the horses
Each and everyone that has crossed my path or will.
I'm thankful for
The spooky ones and the brave ones
The easy ones and the difficult ones
The steady eddy's and even the quirky ones.
The ones that are rescued and have helped Rescue me.
Im thankful for their resilance and grit
The challenges they present
the lessons they teach me and my students
The patience and understanding the instill in us
The problem solving skills I've developed
The tips and tricks I can take to the next one
The growth and strength they offer
The way the keep secrets better then anyone else
Or the big shoulders they offer when one is weak.
Im most thankful for their ability to forgive and move on when us humans get it wrong.
I'm thankful for the horses, Each one that has come and gone because with out them I would not be me.
Today I'm thankful for the love of horses
