One of my most favorite things to do is black background photos! It takes a lot of time to trace out the horse's outline, and then color in the black, but the results are always worth it!

One of my favorite things to do as a photographer is capture moments like these at horse shows! With eventing, time is very important! You need to keep moving to beat the clock! Photographs freeze your speedy round in time so you can always look back on your round and reminisce the excitement you had!

Dressage is very technical and difficult. There are many movements and patterns to accomplish and complete in front of several judges. I always find it fascinating taking photos of dressage riders. Taking a shot as soon as I see the horse pick up their hooves, attempting the flying lead change! It really is an adrenaline rush!
