Well, it's that time of the year again... the ice fishing gear gets put away for the summer and forgotten about until the first cold snap next winter. But now is the best time to get your Vexilar flasher in for service! From time to time, we find that older flashers may need some work done to keep them running at peak performance. Get your unit serviced this off season, so it's ready to roll next winter!
Battery maintenance is another important off-season task. We recommend storing your Vexilar lithium batteries at around 40%-50% charge and SLA batteries at full charge. For lithium batteries this will be about 12.2v-12.9v. We also recommend checking your batteries every 60 days or so, to make sure they are holding a charge!
