a family that i've captured and watch grow year after year. and somehow, every year except for one, they have had the best golden hour. they wanted to revisit one of the first locations we used because they remembered the lighting that comes from it. i'm so glad we went back.

this was such a special session last night. the Yorkmans welcomed in their third treasure, Davey Felix and wanted to capture him, but also include the beloved relationship the kids have with their grandparents.

this family always shows up full of joy and easy-going nature. the girls come with stories and ideas and i love it. they are going to be the BEST big sisters to little brother. i'm so happy that i get to do their newborn session as one of my final sessions coming up.

Brandon reached out to me back in April for a Mother's Day gift--he asked if I would come to their farm for a session. I was there with them when their little Cora was born, and I knew it would be a sweet session to be at their home again as I wrap up my photography season with them. So Saturday morning was spent with horses and a peaceful view of their land. I adore this trio so much!

last night, in one of their very favorite places, with Lake Lemon behind them, Sember + Michael united together and became a family of 9. it was peaceful. intimate. and joy-filled.

i haven't shot a full-on wedding since 2020, but I've taken on a few weddings that are very intimate and i have a connection to through the people. i mean, how can i say no to three hours of capturing love, the kindest family, dancing, good food, good music all with the background of a lake at sunset, ya know?
