The man who allegedly gave Jimi Hendrix his first guitar & used to entertain the audience with somersaults & backflips, while playing blistering Blues guitar licks, has sadly died. He played alongside a virtual who's who of legendary Blues greats, including BB King, T Bone Walker, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles & Otis Rush, & will be sadly missed. He was an incredible guitar player & a really, really nice guy! 😢

Cut her finger fairly badly just before going on, but like a trooper she kept on going, while bloodying up the pick guards on all of her guitars. As I was sitting in the front row, I was more than happy to give her my favorite bandana, to help with the cleanup! As usual, she was the consummate fashion plate!
