3 things to note from a seasoned wedding professional:
•Your day doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.Pentecostal weddings have a culture all their own—modesty, reverence, family, faith. It may look different than what fills most of the wedding world online, and that’s okay. In fact, that’s where the beauty is. Some of the most meaningful weddings I’ve photographed were the ones where the couple simply embraced what made their day unique.
•Trends aren’t off limits. You can love beautiful florals, editorial portraits, thoughtful design, or the latest creative ideas you see online. The key isn’t copying them exactly—it’s asking what about this do I love? Then adapting it in a way that fits your values and the tone of your day. That’s where real style comes from.
•You don’t have to navigate it alone. The wedding world is big, and planning a wedding can feel overwhelming. But there are people whose job is to help guide you through it—photographers, planners, florists, coordinators. Find professionals you trust and lean on them. A good team makes all the difference.
At the end of the day, the most beautiful weddings aren’t the ones that look like everyone else’s.They’re the ones that feel honest, intentional, and deeply meaningful to the couple living it.
