Saturday was a reminder that time is a THIEF! I took Ruth's newborn photos a year ago - and it truly feels like it's only been a week or two since then. But this sweet girl has grown a ton!

What's better than baby snuggles on a Wednesday afternoon?
In my book? Absolutely nothing!
I got to spend some time with this beautiful family on Wednesday this week to meet their beautiful baby, Ruthie. I used to work with Ruthie's dad several years ago, so it was so good to reconnect with both him, and his beautiful wife Maddie!
Although this sweet girl was anything but sleepy during our time together, it gave me plenty of opportunity to capture those beautiful eyes (take a second to appreciate that head control!). Here's a quick preview of our time together!

Earlier this week I got to spend some time with this beautiful family in a place incredibly special to them. 20 years ago, these two lovebirds met in this exact building when they were attending elementary school together. When Esmeralda told me that she wanted to bring her family back to "where it all started" for our session together, I was thrilled!
We had the opportunity to walk around and take photos inside Cristo Rey Kansas City High School (formerly known as Our Lady of Angeles), which resides on the campus of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish - Redemptorist Church. To top off the "aww" factor - this is the same church that they got married in!
