Just in case you missed it, here’s my booth at the Florida Mango Festival! I honestly had the best time and met so many kind people.

All of the pieces on display were created, photographed and printed by me at my art studio in Delray Beach.

My fruit still life series started in 2022 while creating work for Fruits n' Cahoots and since then it’s evolved as I’ve connected with more farmers, groves and fruit stands in south florida like the wonderful Truly Tropical

Hear me struggle pronouncing “platinum”
Late night in the studio experimenting with photo paper after receiving a Canon Pro Paper Sampler Pack

I learned how to make color inkjet prints while studying photography at the University of Florida in 2011. It was very different from getting my hands wet in the darkroom where I had spent my whole high school printing in black & white.

I’m so excited to be back at Arts Warehouse! We have our reopening gathering Friday, June 5th from 5 to 9 PM, hope to see new and familiar faces there!

I can’t say enough thank you’s to Pamela and the rest of the team at the Creative Arts School at Old School Square in Delray Beach for hosting us artists in residence during this two month construction period. You all have been so accommodating and kind.

A Tropical Spring, 2024 13 × 19 in Archival pigment print

Created as part of my Fruit Still Lives series. Styled by me and Krstina Perez, this photograph was intended to depict a tropical spring season. We picked flowers from the farm and selected a bounty of colorful, ripe fruit from Fruits n’ Cahoots to create this piece in the loft of the fruit stand.
Photographed and printed in studio by me.
