Nature has a way of becoming part of the story. 🌿🏚️📸
When I photograph abandoned places, I don’t just look at the building itself. I pay attention to what’s happening around it too.
Grass reclaiming an old path. Vines climbing across a wall. Trees framing a forgotten structure. Plants growing where people once lived or worked.
Those details can show the passage of time in a way the building alone can’t.
Sometimes, the most interesting photograph isn’t just about what was left behind — it’s about what’s slowly taking its place. 👀
👇 What catches your eye first in an abandoned scene: the building, nature taking over, or both together?
