A Quick Note on Client Privacy & Safety 🛡️

Creating a safe, trusted environment for your family is at the core of my business. Due to evolving digital privacy concerns and recent legal decisions surrounding AI and images of minors online, I am adopting a zero-exception privacy standard for social media.

From today on, no photos featuring identifiable children will be posted on my public social media accounts.

Drawing on my background with the SWAN program, any public highlights will strictly feature non-identifiable framing or focus exclusively on adult portraits and details, with blurring of kids' faces when needed. All full client galleries remain completely private.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

As a su***de survivor, helping remove the stigma surrounding mental health is deeply personal to me. When you’re struggling with depression or navigating mental health challenges, finding light in the darkness can feel almost impossible. I want to shine mine as brightly as I can to remind anyone out there that there is light and a life worth living. 💜💙

Just like in May for Mental Health Awareness Month, a portion of all Brownhaven Photography earnings this September will be donated directly to Cal's Hope. When you book a session with me this month, your payment directly helps cover therapy copays for individuals who otherwise couldn't afford care.

A few ways you can get involved this month:

Book a Session: Schedule your photo session this September to automatically support therapy grants.

Attend Songs of September: Join us on Thursday, September 24th at the historic Carlisle Theatre! All funds raised that evening will support the Matthew A. Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
