Hey all. We take flight in a couple weeks to go and finally do the work we had planned for back in March before the ankle break/fusion.

Anyway, things have been difficult to keep up with, but the feeling of leaving unfinished business for so long is weighing me down.

I hope that by the grace of our communities, we can cover the costs of what our families need.

I have added a list of everything to the website and quick easy ways to donate. Anything you would like to share is graciously welcomed.

Hey, fam! (Please Read & Share!! I Need Help 🙏)

In approximately 1 month I will FINALLY return to my favorite little village in Mexico to finish the work I started earlier this year. I am walking again but I still have one more surgery. I am putting that last surgery off to get down there and finish what I started. I need your support. I am taking a big leap in deciding to go anyway.

Things look quite different than originally planned. I no longer have volunteers who can join so it's just going to be lil old me, but if you know me, you know I like quiet time to myself 🥹

It is wildly defeating to be trying to pull the pieces of this service work back together. Breaking my ankle forced me to stop working so hard and heal. But through all that I had to stop, my Non-Profit going on the back burner destroyed me. So here I stand with a bit of hope and even more motivation.

Though I'll be roaming the halls of some LARGE lodgings solo, I am excited to act silly in houses made for many people.

Don't worry, I'll make videos and post them for your enjoyment😉.

But right now we are looking for help with a few things. All the travel costs are covered from March. But we do need donations for some specific items that we have learned our families need. If you can support a good cause, let us be the one you choose. My Seye family will be forever grateful.

We are an official 501c3 so donations can be written off!

So even though this project isn't what was originally planned, I am just grateful I can finally get down there and love on my little village of families. However, I require your generosity to help get us there and shower our people with love and necessities.

1 Year of rent payments on therapeutic shoes for a toddler
A/C unit for kids' classroom (the Yucatan has experienced record high temps for the last couple of years now
Printing of family portraits
Frames for portraits

2 weeks on the dot till go time!

We get to spend 8 days in Merida & Seye, and then we unwind for a couple days on the beaches in Cancun to finish it off before returning home!

With some last minute issues last week I had to get to work at reorganizing our next Aubs Family Photos project in Mexico.

I must say, this second round is looking better than the first! I feel strongly that this is going to be the best service trip I have been on. The struggle was real and the payoff is going to feel like heaven.

The team I have lined up this time is an all new team, some of them have never even been to Mexico! But the passion I feel from them is very real. Its different this time. I have a yearning to get to know them. Usually the thought of meeting new people scares me. I am ready. The connections we make are going to be a gift.

We can't do what we do without your generosity. We need your help to be able to provide our families with additional support. Check out the photos I included in this post, those are a few of the things we have provided the families we have met. Plus, there is always a need for groceries and water.

$150 sponsors a family for photos and also gives us the opportunity to help them in more specific ways.

We are still collecting clothing, shoe, hygiene items, and cameras for the kids photography class we are teaching.

15 families left needing sponsors!!

2 weeks until go time. My excitement has intensified.

I'm trying to stay present, but that thick air is calling... Visions of connections are bouncing around my mind.

As a non-profit organization, we extend our services to underserved communities, creating timeless family portraits that celebrate the essence of the unique bonds we are so lucky to experience on our travels.

Our intimate mission not only encapsulates the beauty of family but also extends a helping hand to diverse communities, fostering stronger family values but also featuring the deep connections these communities already have. We will do work to encourage further education, while supporting locals with their own community outreach efforts long after we leave.

By providing high-quality portraits, we strive to ensure that every family, regardless of circumstance, cherishes beautiful memories that they can pass on for generations.

Sponsor a family with limited access for a professional family portrait session. They will receive 2 edited prints to hang in their homes. This also covers providing the families with a couple extra perks depending on their specific needs.

I have never had a drive to work so hard on something in all my life. I have always wanted that drive, but nothing fulfilled me in the way I needed it to, I couldn't commit.

Over the last year, as hard as it has been in other areas of my life, I have finally found fulfillment in my work. I could spend my whole day working on raising funds and planning service activities without getting tired of it. This is my dream job.

Don't get me wrong, there is much work and learning to do, and I still have to work other jobs for now, but I am laying the groundwork and that sure does excite me about the possibilities!
