before your photoshoot, ask yourself this simple but important question:

“How do I want this session to feel?”
And think of 2-3 adjectives to describe it to me.

Whimsical? Fun? Relaxed? Posed? Formal? Authentic?

These adjectives help us create exactly what you’re wanting. It helps me meet your expectations by helping you pick your outfits and location to help meet that vibe. It helps me know how to pose and prompt you at your session.

Communication is KEY, so this is a great way to get that going before your photoshoot! 🧡

New profile pic, so here’s an updated “about me” post while we are at it:

Hey! I’m Wendy, the girl running this page and busy photographing beautiful lives and souls like yours!

I’m a mom of 2 awesome kids that are my whole world, and I’ve been married to the love of my life for 13 years. We’ve lived here in Treasure Valley for almost 5 years. While I tend to photograph everything, families are my main jam.

I thrive with chill people that just want to have a good time. The silly moments, belly laughs, bare feet and carefree vibes are what I’m all about.

I once was a little girl posing/modeling for my oldest sister for photos. Then I posed my stuffed animals and dolls for their portraits, class photos, and family sessions in my bedroom, using my disposable film camera.

Thank you for being here, for giving me beautiful experiences as I get to hang out with you while photographing your unique life.

Everyone has a story worth photographing, and I’m always so honored to get to photograph you! 🧡
